Now for the honest opinion, blender is a piece of (&()*)( that is convoluted, complex, messy, inconsistent.... Ok I will refrain from my other opinions of it I have plenty.... there assignment done, dont want to touch it much more... might get me zbrush instead at least when you pay for something you know it will work.
Blender sure tested all of us - too many hours spent on a program that did not behave on the Mac and in your case the PC! But hey, Sandra, you got there in the end - your admirable tenacity always pays off. I like the end result!
